In 1986, Michael A. Meyer’s parents founded Michael Allan & Associates. Since that time, we’ve helped more than 30,000 buyers and sellers of residential and commercial properties. Michael came on-board full-time in 1993, and he’s personally completed 11,000+ inspections. We’ve dedicated more than 30+ years to assisting clients throughout Chicago’s NW suburbs.

Construction and Home Inspecting Background
Michael A. Meyer earned a B.A. in Psychology. While attending college, he worked as a carpenter for an architect/builder and learned how to work on light plumbing, electrical, etc. during remodels and house additions. Michael also worked part-time for Michael Allan & Associates, which was run at that time by his father, Allan.
A Passion for Home Inspecting
Michael discovered that his true passion was home inspecting and opted to enter the field full-time after completing college. He loves helping buyers learn about their new property. He also really enjoys the investigation part of being a home inspector, especially the challenge of finding things that nobody else knew about.
